What’s the Amazon Influencer Program?
The Amazon Influencer Program allows you to get your own presence on Amazon, which you can customize and curate with products you recommend in your videos on YouTube or pictures on Instagram. We also give you a special vanity URL (amazon.in/shop/handle), which allows you to promote your Amazon presence verbally to your followers. When customers visit your page and shop on Amazon, you get compensated for purchases in a similar fashion as you would with the Amazon Associates program. You can now send your followers to shop your favorite products in one place with their trusted e-commerce leader.

What is a Verified Profile?
Verified Profile pages are Amazon pages that capture your social identity, including a public name, a short bio and recent content, social media links and updates published across Amazon’s social experiences. This content includes reviews, questions, answers, Idea Lists, Spark stories, and a tile that links to your Influencer Store
  • Q: How can shoppers find my profile? A: Shoppers can find your profile by: (1) clicking on the profile link located on your store page; (2) clicking on the avatar image on your contributions, to include reviews and Idea Lists; and (3) people search.
  • Q: Can shoppers follow me on Amazon? A: Yes. Shoppers can follow you by clicking on the Follow button located on your Verified Profile and your store page.
  • Q: What happens when a shopper follows me? A: When a shopper follows you on Amazon they’ll receive updates via email and push notifications whenever you contribute new content on the site, including writing a review or creating a new Idea List on your store page.
  • Q: Can I delete or hide the content displayed on the Activity Timeline on my Verified Profile? A: Yes. All content displayed in the Activity Timeline can be hidden by: (1) Clicking on the three dots on the top right corner of the contribution; (2) selecting “Hide on my profile.” If the action was successful, you will see a “Hidden by you” message on the bottom left hand side of contribution. You can unhide the contribution at any time by following the same steps. Note that this only hides the contribution on your profile; the contribution is still available for other customers to view in other locations on Amazon.in.
  • Q: Where are my social media links displayed? A: All of your social media links are displayed on your Verified Profile. You can add, edit or delete this links by: (1) clicking “Edit your Profile”; (2) adding or modifying social media links in the “Add social links to your profile” section. All social media links are displayed in the “About” section of your Verified Profile.
  • Q: Is my Influencer store linked to my Verified Profile? A: Yes. Shoppers that visit your Verified Profile can navigate directly to your store by clicking the link located at the top of the profile. Shoppers can also click to your profile from your store.
  • Q: Can I opt out of having a Verified Profile? A: No. Verified Profile are required for all Amazon Influencer Program participants.
  • Q: Can I make my Verified Profile private? A: No. All Verified Profile are public.
  • Q: How do I change the name displayed on my Verified Profile? A: You can change your profile name by contacting customer service.
  • Q: Can I follow myself? A: No, you cannot follow yourself on Amazon.
  • Q: Are there any privileges that come with being verified? A: In addition to the verified badge and link to your storefront, all influencers are eligible to participate in all of the Amazon social experiences, to include writing a review and publishing to Spark. Be on the lookout for new benefits in the coming months.
  • Q: If my influencer storefront closes, do I remain verified? A: Yes, in the event that your storefront closes you will remain verified on Amazon.



How do I categorize my page with Idea Lists?
  • Go to your vanity page (www.amazon.in/shop/YourHandle).
  • You will see an “owner view.” If this is your first time creating an Idea List, we have made your existing list your first category, but you will likely want to modify and re-name it. To do this, click on the pencil underneath the list name. Change the name of the list and add a description. Note: the owner view is just for you. Once you change the name of the list, it will update in the public view as well. If you see other lists on your page, it’s because you have created Idea Lists in the past. You can choose to keep these lists on your page or delete them.
  • Any Idea Lists you create under this account will be rendered on your Influencer storefront as well.
  • To make a new list, click on the ‘Create an Idea List’ button on the owner view of your page
  • Add products to your list. There are two ways to do this: (1) Type into the search bar to see products that match the search. Click the + in the upper left corner to add the product to your list; (2) You can also go to a specific product page on Amazon.in, find the “Add to List” button under Add to Cart, and add the product to the list name you just created.




How is the Amazon Influencer Program different from online Associates?
The Amazon Influencer Program is an extension to the existing online Associates program for qualifying social media influencers. You get similar benefits to the online Associates program, including reporting and online account management. With the Amazon Influencer Program, you also get your own page on Amazon with a URL to showcase the products you recommend to your followers, giving you an additional way to direct traffic to Amazon, which is especially useful when promoted verbally or in an environment where hyper-linking is not possible (e.g. Instagram captions).



As an existing associate, do I have to sign-up again to take part in the Influencer Program?
No, you can use your existing Associates account and store ID to register for the additional benefits of the Influencer Program. Go to the Influencer Program landing page from Associates Central or any Influencer Page, click on “Join Now” and log into your Amazon account. If there is an Associates account linked to that Amazon account, you will be presented with the option to use your existing store ID (or one of several store IDs if you have more than one) to register for the program.

I’m an influencer and currently an Associate. Can I be part of Associates and the Influencer Program?
DYes. The Amazon Influencer Program opens up access to additional tools than the Associates Program and is specifically designed for you to send traffic from social media platforms using a vanity URL. Simply go to amazon.in/influencers and complete the qualification process

How do I change my vanity URL?
Your unique vanity URL is auto-generated based on the social media handle that qualifies you for the program. The vanity URL cannot be changed, unless: Your YouTube channel name changes or You have an account on another social media platform (such as Instagram) where you have higher following than on YouTube (and you wish to change your handle to match the name of that account) . If you’d like to submit a request to change your vanity URL based on one of the two above reasons, please click here to get to the contact form. Select ‘Amazon Influencer Program’ in the drop-down and include information on new handle and the reason why your vanity URL needs to be changed (e.g. “My YouTube channel name changed”) in the ‘Comments’ area. Please include as much detail as possible. All requests are reviewed manually and will be processed in the order they were received.

How do I add or delete products to my Idea Lists?
There are a few ways to add products to your storefront. Login to Amazon.in with the e-mail you used to join the Influencer Program.
  • Type your vanity URL into your browser. In the owner view, click on the Idea List you’d like to add products to.
  • Type in the search bar for the product you’d like to add. Click the + in the upper left corner to add the product to your list
  • You can also add products to your page by searching for any product on Amazon.in:
  • Once you are on the product page, click on the ‘Add to List’ dropdown (located on the right, under Add to Cart) and select the Idea List you would like to add the product to.
  • You can do this from your desktop, mobile web or in the Amazon app.
To delete an Idea List, click in to your Idea List and click on the pencil next to your list tag line. That will open a box where you can change the name, change the tag line or delete your list.

How do I add comments to products I've added to my page?
You can add comments to products to help your followers by following these steps:
  • Login to Amazon.in and type in your vanity URL to go to your owner view
  • Click into the Idea List to view the products you’d like to add comments to.
  • Click on the speech bubble in the upper right corner of the product. Type in your comment and hit save.



What if the products that I want to add to my Influencer page are not available on Amazon?
If you are not able to find a particular item on Amazon, you can look for a similar product to add. Amazon continues to add thousands of products to the catalog every day.

I have a global audience. Is the Amazon Influencer Program available outside of India?
Yes. The Amazon Influencer Program is currently available in the United States, the United Kingdom, India and Canada. You will need to enroll in each country’s program individually with your existing account, and curate storefronts in each one. The Influencer Program is currently available in the following countries:

Yes. The Amazon Influencer Program is an extension of the Amazon Associates program, giving you dedicated tools to make it easier for your followers to find and shop the products you recommend. You can and are encouraged to use tools of the Associates program, such as Site Stripe or Product Links, to link to individual product pages.
