How does CreatorsAPI authentication work?
CreatorsAPI uses secure authentication with OAuth 2.0 client credentials flow. Your application exchanges credentials for an access token, which is then used to authenticate API requests.
How can I check if I have logged in with my primary account?
Sign into Associate Central website, if you can access payment method update and tax interview pages for selected store then you are primary owner of the store.
How can I find primary owner of the store?
You can contact Customer Support using Associate Central website.
Is there batching support in CreatorsAPI?
With CreatorsAPI you can specify multiple item ids (upto 10) for GetItems API and multiple BrowseNode Ids (upto 10) for GetBrowseNodes API.
Can I use my credentials to call marketplaces in other regions?
Yes. Your credentials work globally across all marketplaces. The credential version (e.g., 2.1, 3.2) only determines which token endpoint to use for authentication — it does not restrict which marketplaces you can access. To call a different marketplace, set the x-marketplace header and marketplace parameter to the desired locale (e.g., www.amazon.co.uk for UK). You will need a valid Partner Tag for the target marketplace and Creators API access approved in that region.
